Rodent treatment involves generally a four step process:
Try to reduce the possible food sources and shelter available for rodents;
If possible conceal entry points to prevent rodents entering the building;
Introduce traps or glue boards if the circumstances require this method;
Introduce baits securely fixed out of reach of human and other non target animals.
For the best results, all animals present should be treated first for fleas using approved products from your pet shop or veterinarian. If fleas are active inside the house then flooring should be vacuumed just prior to the treatment and vacuum bags aerosol sprayed and emptied.
Treatment includes:
- Liquid spray via blanket spraying outdoor and subfloor areas and internal flooring if required
- A follow up treatment may be required depending on flea infestation because chemical spraying only kills the live fleas and not the eggs that may re hatch at a later date.
